When I create new users and require them to change the password on the first login replication to all of my servers seems to be very slow. If they log off and back on only the preferred server seems to know the password. Whats up? Ben.

is everything in sync
load dsrepair

check time in time sync

check partition sync

DS repair shows no errors. The tree has recently grown by about 500 users.

that's still nothing

what partitions do you have and what checks have you done

Are there any WAN links in the network? Where is the master replica located? If you have multiple servers & wan links check to see where the master is (dsrepair, advanced, replica & partition, view) master should be repaired and synced. You may want to post your timesync.cfg from reference time server and secondary to see if there is anything strange there.

I get the same thing when using NWadmin. If I use ConsoleOne the changes reflect immediately. If I use Nwadmin the change, like grace logins, can take minutes to take effect. All my replicas are up to date and the time sync is as well.

Honas, when you say slow, could you clarify and tell us exactly how much time is passing? Some people would consider 5 seconds slow, while others with realistic expectations understand that sometimes there is a slight delay.
