Netware 4.11 install on a Compaq 1850R

These drivers seem to be available from HP here:
Although that model is "retired" they seem to be still supporting it. You will notice there are several possibilities, depending which devices are installed in your machine.

yeah I went there... to be honest, nothing on that page worked. I eventually found the correct drivers array drivers from Novell's list of default controllers and I completly dropped the onboard Flex3 NIC. I instead went with a PCI 3com 3c905b-TX with drivers provided from 3com's support site.
I tell you what, installing 11 year old software on 6 year old hardware is a pain in the butt!

We ran Netware 4.11 on 1850R's at Worldcom back a long time ago when I used to work there. No problems with Netware, but I hated those 1850R's.. Pieces of crap.
