Netscreen to Linksys VPN

Looking at VPN connection between Netscreen 5XT and Linksys BEFVP41. I setup preshared DES3 SHA encryption and the status from the Linksys shows connected. However, I cannot ping any remote ips from either side.

Is there some special trick?

Any help would be great!!
