Useing Netscreen remote vpn client. I can connect to the lan from home. I can upload files just fine. The trouble is in when I try and download files from the server to my house. If the file is large I can't even click on it before I get disconnected.

Computer:
2000 PRO
NS VPN Client ver 8.0 b.14
Netscreen:
ns25 os ver. 4.0.0r6.0

Any Idea's?

Hello,

What services are "permitted" with your VPN Policy? How do your persistent PINGS look? Do you have dropped packets?

You may need to throttle down the MTU. This means that your VPN traffic is being fragmented since IPSEC addess to the Packet's payload.

Let me know the first part to this, and I will look up the command for OS 4.0.0r6.

Rgds,

John
