Hi all,
i wondered if any one has come across this issue.
we have two netscreen 5200 devices configured for High availability. we have the HA ports cabled together.
Until recently every thing was working fine until a few weeks back. the symptoms are that all devices behind the active/active (Trust) side cannot access anything beyond the firewall, this happens sparodically. it seems the netscreens are crashing thus the routing entries are being deleted from them (ospf).
I checked the event logs and whats seems to be the reaccuring theme is the following.
NSRP: HA data channel change to ha1
NSRP: HA data channel change to ha2
NSRP: HA data channel change to NULL.(disconnected
the above errors are accuring every 2 min on average.
It seems that the ha ports are getting confused as to who is the master of the vsid,
I'm stumped as to what is causing this
It seems this is happening all the time, if anyone has any suggestions i would be very grateful..
Just for the record here is the version i am running
Hardware Version: 3010(0)-(20), FPGA checksum:
Software Version: 5.0.0r9.0, Type: Firewall+VPN
regards
Brian
