netscape and explorer problem (java)

wuz up,

question. on a qweb site with java application. when i click on a form (radio buttons)then i will view the right answer to it, nothing happen. it only say in the statusbar "java script (open....)" something like that.

so why does that not work on netscape and explorer. i
i've instal. netscape 7.1 new and it still not doing right

Do you have a pop-up stopper installed? Many Javascripts will pop up new windows for things like answers to questions.

Do you have the latest versions of java installed? You can check this from the

http://www.sun.com

website.

well, .. i think i have the latest java installed. It works sometimes and sometimes it don't work. both netscape and I Explorer.

Same if i connect to the internet via network connection. It connect but i can't disconnect. the "disconnect" window don't show up.

A few weeks ago i could'nt print out of explorer. so could it be that this all is somehow connected with each other and that i got some system trouble?

It's a Sony Laptop, XP Home, 8 weeks old. was a out of the box product.

What if i put a service pack on it?

Go to

http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com

and make sure you have all the latest updates installed.

Then visit

http://www.java.com/en/download/windows_automatic.jsp

the latest version of Java will automatically start installing.

Then see if you still have a problem.
