When does client of Networker uses a license?
We have ~150 licenses for clients, and ~120 servers that being backed up today.
There are additional ~30 old clients (that are down for some time now), that still "use" license.
How can we "free" those licenses?

To free them, remove their file index directories (/nsr/index/clientname).

Be aware that when you still have them configured, an empty file index will be recreated when you restart networker. But this does not count license-wise.

we delete them from the client setup and keep the index.

Thank you both.
The solution was even easier: stop networker daemon on the server. Delete /nsr/tmp content. reboot the networker server.
That's it!!!
