I tried logging into NT domain with the new member server configured into the domain. It was able to join the domain during installation and gave message "welcome to xxxx domain". But After rebooting the server, I am not able to logon into the domain even as an administrator user of the domain. However If i logon as local admin into the machine, I am able to browse the network resources and also can use them if I provide login credentials.

The event veiwer error message is like below:

"The session setup to the windows Nt domain controller for the domain xxxx failed because windows nt domain controller does not have account for the computer."

I tried deleting the account from PDC and BDC SAM database, adding it once agian but it was of no use and the problem still remains same.

Go to the Network control panel. On the first tab, specify the domain you want to log in to, then at the bottom click the box for create a computer account in the domain & fill in the info (you need to supply an id with rights to create the account in the domain)
Click ok until you're out of the network control panel
You should be prompted to reboot

When you get the login screen, look at the 3rd box down and make sure you're actually logging in to the domain.

Also, double check your protocol properties. Assuming you're using TCP/IP, make sure your subnet info etc. is all correct or you won't be able to see the domain controller.
