I seem to have nothing but trouble with these appliances. My newest issue is using a 5610VPN to a 338 using option 1. The phone gets all of the way through building the tunnels then gets caught at "Checking Network Connectivity". It hangs there then starts to rebuild the tunnel all over again.

Stop using them then, or tell the customers that you can't support their use as they are cr4p :)

It is rebooting because it has no gateway ipaddress.
Stop it by pressing the * and enter the ipaddress.

The cal server address.
A 9600 will reboot a couple of times and then asks for a gateway ipaddress which is the call server ipaddress.
Did you already entered it?

You may need to statically assign both plus the file server address unless the dhcp server is configured to do that

AM and TL thank you so much, I left the file server ip address blank because I didn't know what I was using and that was the issue. I put in a generic unused address and it worked. Again thank you both for the time.

I never put a file server address on the phone.
Strange that you needed one.
But hey it fixes the problem :)

Thats what I had it on and it would not work. I had to put a bogus one in for some reason. Very odd. I never remember putting an address in before.
