Well I wonder if anyone else is having this issue, I can connect via EAC on any type of connection like dial-up and even infrared connection through my mobile phone, but I can't get the VPN to work properly with my NetGear router?

I find the connection and enter the username, password etc, but then there is a little data passed through until it ceases! I have contacted my IT support and they don't have a clue, and there seems to be no way I can contact Nortel regarding this issue - though NetGear suggested opening a few ports..... any advice would be useful.

Have same kind of problem with DG814, EAC 4.10 on PC running Windows 2000, SP4.

Can login successfully and can even telnet to a company server. Company intranet pages have to be launched and relaunched repeatedly. Think my problem is flaky DNS on the company side and/or Contivity client.

Neither my ISP nor my company will confess to any odd port settings. Company tech support suggested I disable keep alive settings. That didn't help me much, but may be worth trying.
