I have been given the task of changing our domain name at our headquarters. I have 400 sco systems in the field and I need to change the netconfig information on each server remotely through a script. Has anyone done this before. I was going to try to write an 'expect' script to run 'netconfig' on each server, drill through the menus and change the domain information. Anyone have a script that I can re-apply? Or is there an easier way to do this besides logging on to all 400 servers one at a time.

TIA

Haven't had to do that many servers at one time, but here is an article that might help give some insight to all (most?) of the files that will be affected by a name/ip change.

I could imagine building a script to change all the individual files seperatley could be difficult, your idea sounds intriguing, but still possible for lots of things to go wrong, I am guessing.
