Couple of years, that question was answered in thread796-561274 in reverse order of my interest. So what I m looking for is: Can I install VB6 when I already have installed VB.NET on Windows XP?

Should I be aware of anything not to be installed?

Thanks in advance.

Yes. There should not be any problem. {.NET 2002 or 2003} + vb.

I've done this, + the installation of vs2005

I am just wondering about the order of installation because of Chip 's post on that tread. Just to make it sure, .Net is allready on that PC and I need to install VB6.

The answer is still Yes ?

Yes.
That's how i got installed VS at my pc. First .NET 2003. Then I needed from some experiments to install vs6 (pro). Specifically i needed to use vb6 and vc++ 6.

Thank you very much for your time and a * from me.

That post was from 2003, when vs.net 2003 was still in beta.

You'll have no problems with the released version.
