.net framework and DNS server with NT 4.0

Hi all,

I recently installed a couple of security patches on my DNS server. I noticed I saw it installed .net framework on my server. Afterwhich my DNS server cannot resolve domain names successfully. It will work for a couple of hours and failed for the rest of the day. When it failed , I have to restart my server. Stop/start the DNS service wont help. This problem does not go away after I have uninstalled the .net framework.

Please advice.
