Nero "power calibration error"

I have a TEAC DVD writer. When I try to burn a DVD, it gives me "Power calibration error" message & fail to burn.
Writing a CD is working fine. Problem is only with DVD. This problem started to happen from 3 days from now. Earlier I had no problem writing a DVD.

Can someone help to solve the problem?
I have P4 2.8GHz with XP Pro SP2. 512MB RAM with 200GB HDD.

Which version of Nero are you running? Do you have any fancy video cards installed that require extra power?

Use a different brand of media; and clean the lasers:
"DVD-R and DVD-RW disks themselves have information written on them, within this Media ID code there is information that the drive uses to calibrate itself to the disk, when a drive first starts to write to a disk it will burn a small amount of data to a calibration area on the disc, using the calibration information in the Media ID code, and then try to read back the data that it has written. If it cannot be read, then disk will be ejected and fail with a power calibration error."

@kav40 - I suggest to, 1.) update Firmware of DVD Burner (firmware updates allow more different media to be used, ie. media that was created after the firmware of the drive thus making them more compatible), 2.) update Nero to the latest version 6.6.0.13 (as Nero has a build in DB of different DVD Burners and Media types, where the firmware would quit), and 3.) do what bcastner suggested by cleaning lasers (use a can of air or compressor to blow out dust) and/or change Brand of DVD-R...
