Can you tell me whether or not the restriction of filenames to 64 characters in writes to CDs, particularly with this software, can be overridden?

In Configure/Preferences, checking for over length filenames can be turned off but I suspect truncation of over length names will occur.

I have used both version 5 and 6 of this software and have never had a problem with it truncating file names,or file paths for that matter. It always warns me that it is burning potentially unreadable data. Never the less I click allow (or whatever the button is) and it burns away happily. I tend not to use the nero express though so it might be a problem with express.

Take a look for the settings below that allow large filenames.
