negative values in RED 2

I have a formula that gives me the percentage difference between two sales figures. It was easy to make the negative result in RED for the dollar figure. However, I am stumped as to how to make a negative percentage be in red. Any help?

Try using Conditional formatting, change the cell font to be red if the result is less than zero, this should work even if the cell if formated as a percentage.

right click on the area where there could be negative percentage: go to custom and type

# ##0.00%;[Red]-# ##0.00%

this is 2d.p you can change accordingly
