Negative Dollar Amounts in CRM

I've modified the Opportunities screen through System Customization and changed the Estimated Revenue field so that "Minimum Value" is set to -100,000,000 instead of the default 0. I published this change. The question I now have is when I close the Opportunity it won't allow the negative dollar amount to stay there. Where do I have to go to allow this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
