I am trying to scrounge together all the WinXP hotfixes for adding to an nLite disk I'm trying to build finally for the first time. I've seen where a couple of people have what they call "post SP2 hotfix packs" or similar. But from what some have said online, it seems those packages may actually be dangerous to use.
Does anyone have any experience with one of these that they can testify to being safe, or can anyone point me to the easiest way to go to microsoft.com and find a download page or an FTP site to just download ALL available patches that are "post PS2"? I don't want to hunt and peck for each one, since there are so many, but if I can find them on one HTML page, or either one FTP site, I'd be fine with that.
Thanks for any advice/suggestions...
Oh, one other thought - since I keep my current system up to date with Windows anyway, is there a way to find the appropriate files on my local PC?
I appologize if this seems just too low-level a question to be asking, but it's my first time attempting to actually make a slipstream Windows CD - something I've wanted to do for a really really long time.
