Well before i start i should mention that i am a newbie. While trying to find out the cause of an error on a server (Win2k Advanced Server) i disabled all the services including plug and play. I now need to enable all the services but when i right click and go to properties i get the error message : "Configuration Manager: The Plug and Play service is not available" i even get this message when i try to start the plug and play service. Any help anyone? Thanks in advance.

Need to start disabled Plug and Play service.

Ok i have fixed this problem. I used the recovery console and set both plug and play and remote procedure call to auto. Command is: enable "plug and play" service_auto_start
and enable "remote procedure call (rpc)" service_auto_start.
Guess i learnt the hard way not to disable those services unless 100% neccesary.
