I know that this probably seems a bit remedial, but I need to have a PC that has a screensaver that simply shows the system time. I've tried using the Marquee screensaver and changed the text to the system time variable (%time%), but all it does is display "%time%" instead of the actual system time. This shouldn't be too difficult, but I can't find a way of doing it.

I've googled around a bit and found dozens of clock screensavers, but all of them have sounds, animations, or extra features that would be disruptive in an OR waiting room. What I need is just a very simple digital clock readout as a screensaver. Any ideas or suggestions?

Right-click on Desktop, select "Properties". Go to "Screen Saver" tab, select "3D Text", click "Settings", click the "Time" radio button.

Thanks! I knew there was an easy answer that I wasn't seeing.
