I have a cisco 837 router and am using the MS XP vpn client, all works fine. We need to give access to an oversea's client to one server, so I want to be able restrict one user to access one ip address and all other users no restrictions.
My cisco bod mate tells me I need to use radius (not an option) or make the user I want to restrict use the same ip address when thay connect and use access lists.
How do I make a user always receive the same IP address?
I would ask my mate but he is unobtainable 95% of the time
