We currently have 200 measured skills and need to add more. I know this can be done by modifyling our data storage allocation. I would like to bump it up to 250. Are there any things that I need to consider before bumping this up to 250?

If cms will let you do it, then the disk was already prepared to handle the data. If you have a secondary cms, make sure you have the same allocations for agents, trunks, vdns, etc in each cms.

Check the Free Space Allocation (Main Menu/System Setup) to check your disk space. Changing the DSA requires you to turn off Data Collection for ALL ACDs on the CMS and put the application in Single-User mode. As the cautionary note says, print the existing DSA before you make any changes.

After you modify the DSA go back and check the Free Space Allocation and increase it if you have to.

BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE CMS APPLICATION PUT IT BACK IN MULTI-USER MODE AND TURN DATA COLLECTION BACK ON FOR ALL ACDS!

Can someone take a look at our Free Space Allocation and let me know if they believe we have enough space available to add 20 more skills to be measured? Currently we measure 200. I'm not sure how to read this screen.

right now you are using less than 1/3 of the space allocated.
