could someone tell me if its possible to remotely reboot a cisco netopia 7100 series dsl router and if its possbile what command or commands could a novice use to do this

thanks

If two wrongs don't make a right then how can to wrights make and airplane fly ?

If it's anything like most IOS-based Cisco products, the command should be a simple 'reload' [confirm] from the router prompt.

Steps:

1) Telnet in

2) Get into 'enable' mode (superuser/admin) by typing 'enable' and the password

3) Type 'reload' (without the quotes)

4) Hit enter to confirm (make sure to BACK UP your config)

Wait for it to re-boot
