I am having a problem getting FTP to work, we have a shipper that we need to transmit to each night, they need to have ftp and port 6686 open to transmit and to send reply back to us, i've set up a user defined port called 6686 and then i created an access rule to allow inbound and outbound on port 6686 and i also included the ftp protocol within this rule, but i just can't seem to get it to work.
i also have another site that we need to transmit to and they use secure ftp transmission, they supplied us with a user cert, but this also does not work.
i am able to reach microsoft and symantec's ftp servers but a few others that i should be able to i can't. i just cannot seem to figures this one out. any help would be appreciated. Thanks
