I have inherited a LAN that has been up and running for several years now and I'm interested in documenting the file structure and individual user access rights for a large volume of folders. Also, part of the process is to Identify redundant folders (print drivers, admin tools, etc.. that exist on several different servers),

Are there any free tools out there that will help me ID my existing file structure(s) so that I can determine where I need to button down my security a bit?

I've never tried that before but it definately looks like a decent suggestion.

That is exactly the product I was looking for thank you so much.

Another huge problem I've got with Microsoft servers... This is a reporting function that should be standard on any server platform.
