Need to dial out to beeper

Gang:

We have a G3SI, V11, Definity Audix. Our CFO asked if he can be beeped when his station is called and he is not on the premises. Currently, his calls are directed to his station, then to his secretary, and then to his audix. Our version of audix does not let me transfer out to dial the beeper number. He has a 7406+ phone. Any ideas? Thanks. Rick.

If your CFO upgrades himself from a beeper to a cell phone, you can try XMOBILE (aka EC500).

Depending on your Audix, you can have it call (beep) him when he gets a message. It is called Outcalling. You can also do what Susan said an use the xmobile station. No need to switch to cell. He will just get paged instead of it going to voicemail. Another thing you can do it do duplicate the coverage path you stated Station > Assistant > Audix, but instead of Audix, put in the a x ported station fowarded to the beeper.

All these are dependant on callers leaving their call back number...

Thanks for the feedback. I would like to keep his audix in the mix. I could enable outcalling in audix, but I still can't see where it would allow me to enter the beeper number.

You enter the beeper number by logging in to Audix from the station. I believe it is prompt 4

The subscriber themselves type in the outcalling string after they log into their mailbox and press 6.
