need to create report based on user input 1

hi,

this is my situation: I need to ask user the name of the employee and the dates during which his work hours have to calculated.

can I use a form where I can make a drop down list for all employees, and based upon the name selected, create a report.

question: how to pass the value from the above mentioned drop down list to the query from which the report will be generated.

In the query you may reference the selected value of the combo with this syntax:
[Forms]![Name of your open form]![name of your combo]
