Hi All,
Users needs to click on send and receive to get their mail, even if they are configured to check automatically?
Anybody knows how to fix that in Exchange 2003

I would think this is more of an Outlook problem than Excahnge. Are they connecting using pop3? In outlook take a look to make sure Outlook is online. Are all users having this problem?

Are your Outlook clients Outlook 2003? If so, check to see if they are configured to use cache mode. Not sure if something in the Outbox forces Outlook to hit Exchange or not regardless of the sync threshold.

Just an idea...

JB

Yes we're using Outlook 2003 and SMTP.

If you are using Outlook with POP3/SMTP set-up instead of the Exchange server set-up you will need to configure outlook to send/recieve on a schedule. Go to Tools->options and under the mail setup tab there is a setting to send/recieve every xx minutes. Configure this and it will automatically send/recieve every xx minutes.
