I don't know if this is the right category or not, but here goes.

I have a databse with a bunch of functions that are not often used, so I've moved them up into a custom menu. The only problem is, that custom menu now appears in EVERY database that I open. I believe I didn't create a custom menu but instead edited an existing menu. I think it's the 'menu bar'.

What I'm looking for is a way to attach a custom menu bar to ONLY this one database I'm working on.

Thanks in advance for your help!

The built-in CommandBar objects always appear the same for a given user, regardless of the database that's opened. Custom CommandBar objects, however, are stored in the database itself, so they are available only when that database is opened.

To create a custom menu bar or toolbar, see the Help file. Once you've created it, you can drag the buttons or menu items from the built-in CommandBar to your new one.

After you're done, use the Customize dialog to reset the built-in toolbar or menu bar to its installed state, if necessary.

I apologize for not responding sooner. Thank you for your answer; I'm sure it'll work but I got called onto a different project and haven't been able to work on this for the moment.

Again, thank you for your time with this!
