Friends,

I need to add two new DID ranges to my pbx.Unfortunately, I have never done this before. I would appreciate any info you can provide.

As always,

Thank you.

ok, your finished.. unless the nxx is unique or the new range will not match your as built phones, all you need to do is add a dn within the new did range.. the software does not need to know the dn range unless your using digit translation

ld 49 prt idc will show you if any translators are being used today.. i had a switch once that's did range was the 9000 group, in that case i translated the inbound 9 to the 1st digit 4... so my did was xxx 9999, my dn was 5999.. at this site the did and the dn match, which is more common

Thank you JOhn. Unfortunately, they will not make it easy on me. I have two new NXX's. Also, could you please tell me where I can find my current programmed in the pbx.

Thanks for all your help, I was able to figure it out..thanks again friends.

the only problem with a second nxx is the clid,, set up a clid table like my table 5 then on the new did's enter the key 0 scr xxxx 5 and that will show the did of key 0, then if key 1 is not a did, key 1 scr cccc d, that will show the clid of key 0 on that set..
Code:
ENTRY 5
  HNTN 803
  ESA_HLCL
  ESA_INHN NO
  ESA_APDN YES
  HLCL 434
  DIDN YES
  HLOC
  LSC
  CLASS_FMT DN

that has a line for my npa (803) and another for my nxx (434) those plus didn yes, shows my did when i call out from key 0, my key 1 is a non published so it shows table 0, the main listed.. key 2 is a private line and shows the did on line 0... most of this was setup during test.. prt clid in ld 21 and change NET in ld 15.. sorry if the idc post was not clear, that is not the norm, but if it's there it can bite you..
