Here is the scenario.
5 lines ringing in answered by AA. Home node menu options give callers 3 options. Option #3 xfers calls to ext 246, if NA or Busy xfer to to 238, if NA or busy xfers to 230, if NA or busy xfer to 231.
I need an easier solution to answer these calls. Can I put these extensions in a ring group and park calls to be xfered to next available ext? If all ext are busy then xfer to info mail box.
Any suggestions?

Read up on Hunt Groups. Basically you create a hunt group, add your 3 ext's as hunt groups members, select the distribution mode (You want circular I think).. just follow the prompts once there. Then point your option #3 in the AA the the hunt group DN.

What voice mail system do you have?
DigitalMind is on it with hunt groups and they are easy to setup.
If I remember correctly on a MICS if calls unanswered by hunt group overflow occurs to General delivery mbox (100)

You can set where it overflows too and after how much time. Huntgroups also bypass forward no answer and forward on busy settings of the sets involved in it. (Which is quite handy)

I do not want to have the unanswered calls go to the Gen Delivery MB, I need to have the calls ring the group forever until someone answers. If all extensions in the group are busy, I want the call parked?, and then answered by the next available ext. Or how about a second ring group, that if RG1 does not answer after so many rings, it automatically rings RG2? Does all of this make sense?
Thanks for everyone's help. It is greatly appreciated.

Simple answer: No. In order for this to work in the fashion you're describing, you need a Call Center.

Still, you want HUNT GROUPS. It won't default to any mailbox until the time you allocated it times out. So just give it ALOT of time. It will ring in circles, or to all available sets and whoever can answer first does.

There's a setting while setting up the hunt group, If Busy : Queue ... I guess that's what you'd want. Not sure what happens to the call though while the norstar queue's it. MOH ? Ringing ? Silence ? I really don't know, you'll have to find out. Good Luck !

When a caller is queued in a hunt group, the caller hears ringing.
