Currently have a 4 port system in Option 11. Ive been told I can not add more VM ports, that Nortel wants me to go to CallPilot. Can I not put in an 8 port VM card to replace the 4 port card or is there an issue there.
So Nortel would not sell us the keycodes to add ports, due to non-support of expanding a meridian?
Is it true that if we purchased a used Option 11 that already had an 8 port system, we could implement that one ?
That seems to be a whole lot less $ than converting to CallPilot, since Meridian is an ideal solution for our needs. We have no need for those features.
Any other ideas on how to expand the access to the voicemail, is there another addon system that would work with Option 11 that is similar to meridian but does not cost like CallPilot?
Question: Is there a package to go from Meridian Mail to CallPilot 4.0?
Answer: Yes. There is a special Meridian Mail Investment Protection offer available, but will expire end of 2005. See bulletins: SM-2002-1578-NA and SM-2004-0379-rev1.
read that post real close, we just used that discount and went from a 150 k to just under 90 on a major voice mail. bad news is putting money in a mermail, another year down the road and keycodes will be no longer issued and the discount will be gone.. if you place the order now the actual in service can still be 06.. with the migration tape, you only need to rebuild the menus, ann etc. and the voice recordings will migrate over along with saved msgs, passwords mailboxes etc
