I have created a website ( ) in my personal webspace that is provided by Earthlink (Trellix software). In this website, I have a link to a second website of mine, and this link opens the second website in a new window. Both sites are masked/have domain forwarding. To create a link to the second website, I used the following html text to do this:

<a href=" target="dynamic"><font color=blue><u><b><h2>Block Oil Gallery Modifications</h2></b></u></font></a>

Now, here's my problem: The second website consists of 4 pages. I have my commercial domain name ( ) forwarded (web masking) to the second website. And now I am trying to make this link from the first website open a window to the second page of the second website, but the domain masking defaults my intended link back to the second website's home page instead of the second page.

(If, in the html link, I use the actual [unmasked] web address of the second site, the proper page in the site indeed comes up but it is not masked with my forwarded domain name.)

How may I make this link open a new window to the second page of the second site and still have the second site's page masked with my registered domain name (so that the masked web address does not show)?

Thanks so much,

Paul

p.s.: What about partial masking, so that the masked site's specific page maybe saved in favorites?

Pay for a host that doesn't use URL masking.

Hope this helps,
Dan

Hello Dan and thanks for your reply,

I think my intial post was misinterpreted. My host isn't masking my actual web address; rather, I am masking the address intentionally.

I am hoping to create a link to a new window to the proper page, but apply the mask before the new page opens...so that the actual (masked) web address does not show.

Can this be done?

Paul
