What does a large beep and then short beeps mean when I turn on my PC

Sounds like the video card. Make sure it is seated properly. If after trying that it still makes the noise, remove the card. If the noise stays the same with the card removed, replace the video card.
Al
atc-computing@home.com

This is a real dumb question, but when you are in Microsoft Word Processing and you insert a picture, how do you reposition the picture....My mouse will not let me drag it anywhere. I am wondering if I have to click something before I insert it.
sdot

You really should have posted this question instead of merging (hideing) it with another posting. But, anyways, check to make sure the picture is small enough to move around, then select the picture (by going to the line immediately before and hold the shift key and press the down arrow at least twice till the picture is changed in color), goto edit, click on cut, position the cursor at the insertion point for the picture and insert it again.

If that is not what you want to do then my other suggestion is that you move the mouse to the edge(s) of the picture and resize it, and try the above procedure.

Secrete of life: If Husband = Happy then Wife = Unhappy. Or you can right click the picture, select format picture, select Layout and select Tight.

Clive
clive@digitalsky.co.za

I assemble and sell these things.
