I'm trying to setup a performance alert on one of my servers. I want to run a local program on the server when the CPU usage exceeds a certain amount, and also log it in the application logs. When the cpu exceeds the specified amount, the event gets logged, but the program never gets executed. For example, I set it so that it runs notepad, but notepad won't run. I do see a notepad.exe in the Processes (using Task Manager), but notepad is never displayed. How can I get the Alerts to run a program?
