Hey guys,

I need some inputs from you,I have a 3-stage import process:

(1) Copy the data into NJStar & save it as GB-Text
(2) Import the data into SQL server
(3) Update the dataset from the imported data using the predefined column names.

SQL Server won't import Unicode text correctly, which is why I have to go through (1) & (2). If you have any info about another way of getting the data into MS SQL Server without exporting through NJStar I'd be more than grateful.
:)

SQL Server has several unicode datatypes available. Why is it not importing the data correctly? Or, I should ask how it is incorrectly importing the data?

Have you used the NChar, NText and NVarchar data types in coversion? Have you looked up Unicode in Books Online? There are at least 7 different items in BOL under Unicode.
