I am attempting to create a frequency array in Excel (office2000p). Formula returns only first value. I can't seem to generate the entire vertical array. I've even used the example given in the help file definition of frequency and that didn't work.

I have my range of Qc data (array1 values) and my break points ("bins", array2 values) and want to generate a chart, but I need to get all the data points.

Would be most helpful with any suggestions.

Hi,
I am not following you completely, but why don't you put your data points in rows or columns and use the Chart Wizard to gen you chart. Skip,

Did you select or highlite the column next to your bin column first, then bigin typing th frequency formula while the column is highlited, and be sure to hold Ctrl + Shift while you press enter to complete your formula.

SkipVought, I will be making a graph but I want to graph the frequency and while I could do all the math to make that happen, I'd prefer to use Excel's built in functionality.

ETID, THANKS!!! Ctrl+Shift was the answer. Kudos and a star.

Gamesman,
That's why a forum like this is so great. Although I am an expert in some areas, I hardly know enough to be dangerous in many others.
