need help with Backup

Hi, I have messed up, but not seriously - I hope!

I have just backed up and formated the C Drive.
I used Windows XP's native backup utility, then reinstalled windows, but I am now unable to find the file that contains all the emails I have and contacts for Outlook XP.

It is important that I recover these soon as I have work waiting. So can someone please tell me the location and filenames of the files I need to locate and restore from the backup.

-- The backup was of C's root and child folders.

IF you restart the newly installed Outlook and got to Tools, Options, Maintenance, Store Folder, it should be possible to find the default location of the files.

Why not do a search for *.pst to see how many hits you find. Your data should be in one of the .pst files. joegz
