Need help setting CLAN card port speed on G3R v9.5

I have 2 clan cards and 1 medpro card that are currently on switch ports that can only support 10/half network connections. I am going to re-terminate connections to new switch with 100/full network connections. Is there a field in my switch (Definity G3R v9.5) that allows me to set those? I know I can do this on CM v2.0 (just did it this past weekend in the "disp ip-int ****" menu.

Any help would be appreciated. My change is scheduled for 6pm tomorrow.

Change ethernet

You will have to disable your links in change ip interface first.

After you lock it down you will have to enable the link.

Also note you are limited to the back plane cable. You can change it to cat 5 if needed.

Do you have a TN799C or DP? I can't remember where (probably here) I read that the TN799C is limited to half duplexing. If you do change the settings....do it from a SAT terminal. Just in case.

In the future everything will work...

r9.5 does not have the "change ethernet-options" command

there is a patch for r9.5 that AVAYA has to apply to give it to you though...

Thanks BuckWeet. I was about to post that I can't use the change ethernet-options command.

So without that patch, I don't think there's a way to manage that.....is there?

I haven't heard of any patch for 9.5 that would enable that command of 'cha eth'.

There are 4 things you need to get 100Full...
1. The proper TN card, i.e. TN799C/DP, etc.
2. Definity r10 or higher.
3. CAT5 Tight Twisted Pair IO Cable from backplane to amphenol plate.
4. IP Media Processor amphenol adapter (black, not the gray 259A).

So I'll move the net connections anyway and set the 100/full port to 10/half for now. I'm going to be upgrading to CM 1.3 in 3 weeke.

Well, we had a r9.5 customer, who had this patch..

Whats weird is that it made the switch look like a R10, but it was really still a r9.5..

Yes I know it sounds crazy, and looking through the switch its weird.. But thats what it was..

It was a G3CSI TN2402 proc..

oh, so it wasnt an R that had that patch done. i know a very large g3r customer that is having issues because of the 100Full r9.5 thing, but they are upgrading all 4 of their G3r's to 8700 in a couple of months anyway.
BuckWeet, would you happen to know the name of the patch or PCN?

This was back when I was with Exp@nets

which is no more, and i don't have the resources to ask, heh...
