I have moved one of our office locations with new DID's. I just got the PBX and the new circuit online. The PBX is configured to recieve 5-digits, and is receiving them, but gets barred.

What do I need to change to get the correct DID's going out and to recieve the calls coming in on new DID's?

Thanks

chg your ldn to a 5 digit number.. that was all that was needed a couple of rls's ago. someone here said there was a cdb prompt for that now, both were required. don't have my merls here so i can't verify it.. try the ldn, if need be i can boot my laptop and search for a new cdb entry

I may not have included enough information in my post. The listed directory numbers in the PBX are actually the same.

My old DID range was (xxx)yy2-3700 to (xxx)yy2-3899. My new DID range is (vvv)ww2-3700 to (vvv)ww2-3899.

The PBX was originally configured to receive 5-digits, (237xx). I am still receiving the same 5-digits. The only things that have changed are the area code and first two digits of the exchange.

Does this make sense? If not, I can try to clearify.

Thanks.

CAUSE :INVALID IE CONTENTS

in the cdb you do enter the area code and the nxx, but that is not your problem.. your pri is up and clean, i see the dialed dn but nothing in that trace shows me that i am rec 5 digits... i would test with the provider, have him tone 5 digits to your dn... only then would i procede with the assumption that my switch was the problem.. ld 96 stat serv.. ld 96 dis msdl x all, enl msdl x fdl... worst case, build an analog route, add one trunk, put a but set on that trunk and dial 5 digits (wink start) you will here the wink then dial your dn... sure fire test of your cdb params

Awesome info. Thanks.

The main reason I believe my programming is the problem is that this is a new PRI, new provider, new city, but outgoing calls still show the old 10-digit number as being the originating party.

Thanks, Nathan

the outgoing call are in the clid table, that is a unique problem and will not block inbound..

The CLID table is defined in LD 15. Do the change, then edit the table in the NET gate opener. Say yes to the CLID prompt, then edit ENTR 0, that is the defaut clid

So, the CLID is correct, (now). Still no outgoing or incoming calls. Same errors on both.

I can see the tester's 5-digits when he makes a call to one of my DID's, but get the same "CAUSE :INCOMING CALL BARRED ".

I'm at a loss here.

check your idc table, ld 49 prt idc. prt your ldn, make sure it's a 5 digit. better yet,ld 21 prt cdb and post that.

how much did you reprogram on the move? might try dis serv, those can block, if the provider is waiting for service msgs and your not sending,or if your sending and they can't read the detail
