I am not sure if that is the right way to put it. Actually, I have 5 databases, all the same structure with the exact same queries, forms, reports, macros and modules. Currently each mdb has a set of these. I would like to make a central database to store the queries, forms, reports, macros and modules. The five databases would then just consist of the tables (which all have the same structure and names). How would I get one of my five mdb's to access the reports in the central (library??) database? I have thought about splitting the database but i think that is doing what i need in reverse. It links the reports etc.. to the tables and I want to go the other way. Is it possible? If so, any help or advice would be GREATLY appreciated. I am really going crazy with this one. Thanks!!

Why do you have 5 db's that are exactly the same? If, as I suspect, they each are for different departments or categories or something similar, why not have them all in one db(especially if they share identical structure)? You could still group them at a high level and keep distinctly separate data separate.

Thank you for your suggestion. Yes, the difference is in the tables. Each mdb is for a different product. I brought up that same suggestion but the structure is already set and I guess we just need a simplified way to make update reports etc. when a change or addition has been requested. Currently we are updating the same things in all the databases..
