Hi All,

I need to setup an Automatic Exclusion on one of our Avaya IP phone. We have Avaya CM 5.2 in the environment. Pls let me know the complete basic requirement to set this feature.

- I have Automatic Exclusion set to Y in System Parameter features
- I've one confusion as well, in which Cos should I set the Automatic Exclusion to Y? Because In CM5.2 it shows change CoS-group.

Your extension that you've shown is TN:49 which means it is Tenant 49. To find out which COS Group number is assigned to this Tenant, display Tenant 49 and you will see the COS Group number assigned.
If for example, it is assigned COS Group 2, you would then change COS Group 2. This user has been assigned COS 6, under the COS Group number assigned to the Tenant. You would change the COS settings here, but first you would need to see if any other extensions are using this COS. You may need to change an unassigned COS in this group to add the automatic exclusion, and then assign it to your extension.
You can assign an exclusion button to the set. As soon as the user is on a call the exclusion is activated. They can press the button while on a call if they wish to temporarily deactivate it.

@bleebrant.... Thnx a ton for your advice. It works!!
Cheers
Rahul
