We have a Nortel Option 11 tied to a ShoreTel phone system using a QSIG pri connection. On the Nortel system, it is told that if anyone calls in on the lines designated for outbound, to send the call to ext 4130, which is on the ShoreTel system.
When we put in the ShoreTel system, we removed the attendant console and had to set the Nortel system to send calls to 4130 instead of the attendant console. This has seemed to work, but we have an issue with out copper lines on the Nortel system now.
It seems to happen around 3:30 to 4:00 on most days, but we will start getting AUD422 error. When you decode the error, we find the copper trunk that is reporting it. If you do a trak of that port, it shows the ORIG as the trunk and nothing in the term. It also shows the dial DN as 4130. Basically, this locks that trunk up and we have to go in and disable and re-enable it.
Do any of you have any ideas of what we should look at? Do you think there can be a schedule or anything built in the system that is causing this? Any ideas would be great.
