I screwed up with my previous post by assuming library files on unix ended with a .lib extension...
What I need to know is how to build both static and shared libraries on UNIX using GNU C/C++ compiler.
I have written a couple of classes which I would like to incorporate into future projects. I know how to link libraries in but I can't figure out how to compile my classes into the library files in the first place!
Can anyone help?
