I know this is the Cisco router fourm, but I wasn't sure where to else to post this...
My ISP provides an Efficient 5871 IDSL Router. I have a /29 subnet. The router connects to the Internet fine, no problems on the WAN side. On the LAN side I assigned it one of the public IPs. I also have a NAT firewall plugged into the router with another one of the IPs. Machines behind the firewall have no problem connecting to the Internet, but I cannot hit the firewall from the Internet or the router itself (yes, the firewall is allowing pings to the WAN port). The router sees the firewall in it's ARP list, yet I can't ping it. I've tried adding static routes but they never show up in the routing table....
Any ideas?
