I'm trying to make a chart in Excel 97. Let me try to explain the chart as best as I can. It is rather simple to imagine (since I can't show you). I need to make a chart with 2 Y-Axes. One Y-axis should be a stacked bar type (each bar is comprised of only 2 values). The other Y-axis is simply a line type...there are 2 lines. Each type is graphed according to what the values are on a particular date. For example, date 2/2/04 shows for the line type 4500 "hours" for Line tick #1 and 5200 for line tick #2 (these are two DIFFERENT lines). For this same date, the stacked bar type shows on the other Y-Axis (on the opposite side) 2000 "feet" which is shown on the stacked bar as 1700 feet and 300 feet (one one bar).
I hope this explains the situation thouroughly as I know it is important to understand the problem before suggestions are made. Please help me out if you know a solution.
P.S. In other words I can make a line graph AND a bar graph to show the above illustration, but what I need to to have them on the SAME chart (with 2 y-axes).
