People,

I once saw long, narrow, horizontal animated image of a sound wave, which scrolled across the screen from right to left...it even pulsated, like a real waveform viewed on an oscilloscope (& it served as a sort-of horizontal rule...separating the header from the page content.)

I now need something like this for a digital recording resource site I am building.

So...first, the easy way...do any of the members know where such a moving graphic can be had?

2nd...if I make myself such an image...perhaps a cropped .jpg screen shot of an actual waveform (from a PC digital audio workstation)...is there a way, using HTML, to make it scroll continually?

Thanks,

Sonic Max

i would suggest flash. but yeah any ticker script will allow continous scrolling of layers...

Here is a static gif and you can use animated gif software to make it move.

vbkris & trc,

Thanks, man.

Would I be better off making my own long graphic; & then using that ticker script to scroll it?

[That way...I could use one of my owm waveforms, from my DAW (SONAR.)]

If so, where can i get the script?

Thanks again,

Sonic Max
