Need advice to buy motherboard ASAP please!

Hey, I must send the submission for my new computer tomorrow and I don't know what mothergboard to buy. They suggested me a Gigabyte VRX-P but I never heard about it so I don't know. I would also like to know about the chipset the comes with the MB. thanx for your help.

I have 2 GigaByte other model boards, 1 WinXP Pro and 1 Win98SE, and they seem to be doing a great job. It's a shame you couldn't have had more time for comparison shopping.

Yes I would like to have more time but I can't do a thing about it. Anybody knows about the chipset that comes with this board, I tried to find some review but without success...

Are you sure about the model name? I couldn't find it on Gigabyte's site. Do you mean GA-7VRXP? If so, that's a board with a very good reputation;

CitrixEngineer, shame on you. I didn't plan an upgrade of my Athlon 700/GigaByte 7IXE but after seeing that board, I will have to re-think the situation. And I will have to read up on the 'dual BIOS' bit.
