How do you print a .TIF file for a diagram on a report without embedding it? It takes up so much room to embed.

No, everyone who runs the report must have access to where the picture is stored.
If this is your intention, you should have your database split between a frontend and backend in a directory on a server.Place any pictures you want on your reports there and create your reports useing the common path to your pictures.
