We just moved to SQL Server 2005. I was wondering if there was a easy starter tutorial on CLR programming someone could point me to?

Thanks.

Isn't T-SQL works for you?
Remember NOT all users moved to SQL 2005 and up.
Also some DBA disabled using CLR in SQL Server (If I'm not mistaken, it is disabled by default also).
I don't want to say you shouldn't learn CLR programing, but just wait some time before using it, let's SQL Server 2000 dies (Hmmm, I doubt that will be soon).
If you force your clients to upgrade you'll lose them (believe me that is my experience).

They are always ask "Why should I spend some money for upgrade for something that serves me great, when I can change the application that force me to do this for a smaller prize."

I have already moved to sql server 2005. That is not the question.

As far as the CLR I just want to learn for my own personal growth.

Thanks.

You are, but did your clients did it?

I moved to SQL 2008 but most of my clients are still on 2000 :)

Just google: SQL Server CLR programming
and you will find many helpful results.
